چکیده

Preservation of food and vegetable products is an age-old practice for the retention flavor, appearance, quality. From ancient times, driers drying grains work on direct sun rays, firewood, fossil fuels, coals causing carbon release. These available methods are expensive, unreliable, unhygienic; thereby use a solar dryer working free clean energy better higher value addition to preservation. The objective this exploration study recent developments in different types dryers foods, vegetables, seafood, etc. There exist many studies effects parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, speed air, turbulence effect, irradiation, latitude location process. findings show that climate conditions radiation atmospheric air play important role efficiency dryer. A phase change material stores thermal during daytime releases heat nighttime. This process improves reduces loss period. On one hand, hybrid integrated with panel produces electricity operation DC blower circulating hot inside chamber drying. In addition, critical review has been performed usage absorbing plates increasing transfer rate, various materials storage, analysis CFD simulation.
